Saturday marked Stacey and my final wedding of 2009, and we couldn’t have picked a more fun couple to finish the year off right! Victoria and Dan worked hard to make their wedding day special, and despite some REALLY ugly weather, they smiled, laughed, and made some great memories with family and friends!
You can’t go wrong when you’re throwing a party in the Big Easy, and Tori and Dan’s wedding was anything but a disappointment! We started the day off getting ready at the gorgeous Royal Sonesta hotel in the heart of the French Quarter … before heading to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a stunning ceremony. The wedding and reception both kept perfectly to their New Orleans-themed day … from the Fleur De Lis program design, to the hints of Mardi-Gra at the reception.
Speaking of the reception … Dan and Tori picked the stylish Broussard’s for the big party. And even though the bad weather forced guests inside, the entire venue looked gorgeous!
Thank you to Victoria and Daniel for inviting us down to the Big Easy! You’re such an awesome couple, and we only wish we could have spent more time with you guys! Here’s a few of our early favs …
Did I mention rain? I have to admit, I grossly underestimated how deep rain water on Bourbon Street could get when I opted to walk a couple of blocks to the reception :-P …
Towards the end of the night, Victoria and Dan kept with a great New Orleans tradition, and led a second line through the restaurant …

And lastly, I absolutely LOVE these two shot Stacey got of Tori saying goodbye to her father with the rest of the family in the background … and then going in with Dan for one last kiss before heading back to the hotel …
So what’s the greatest thing about shooting in New Orleans? When you’re bride decided to shoot a day after session around the French Quarter … and it doesn’t rain!!! Stay tuned later this week for some of our favorite bridal portraits of the year!!!
Beautifull I absolutely love Tori and Dan's pics. They are staying at our resort for their honeymoon and they are an absolutely great couple, hands down(even greater in person than on the pics).
