The past few years have been a whirlwind for our little picture business. We’ve been blessed with the chance to document some amazing moments in folks’ lives, and seen our studio grow more than we ever imagined it could!

But the same growth that saw us shoot just about every weekend this year has also come with a price. For those of you who know our backgrounds, you know that Stacey has more than one love when it comes to her career life. She’s both an amazing photographer AND a talented physical therapist. And while she’s dedicated to her work in both fields, she’s been running low on downtime over the past six months … with little time to rest between a full schedule of patients, and a full schedule of weddings.

For a while now, we’ve been talking about a way for Stacey to shrink her workload in the studio, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve found the answer in the amazingly-talented Jessica Wright.

We met Jessica back in 2009 at a local bridal show, and have become good friends with her and her husband Adam over the past few years. We’ve blogged about her awesomeness before, and continue to be amazed by the work she puts out at her studio … Jessica Wright Photography.

So when we went looking for another photographer to shoot under the Simple Color name, she was the obvious person to ask! Needless to say, we were elated when she agreed to shoot a select number of weddings with me each year!

Stacey will still shoot her share of weddings every season, but now she’ll split her coverage responsibilities with Jessica … who is the PERFECT person to document weddings with Simple Color’s style and detail! Of course, Jessica will continue to document weddings and portraits with her studio … as well as shoot between 10-15 weddings with Simple Color each year.

We’re so excited to have Jessica join us as part of the Simple Color team! Her love for photography, attention to detail, and care for her clients can only help our studio continue its growth and success. And we’re so grateful for her willingness to help us out!
