Here’s to my wonderful, “tender-hearted” couple. I loved that they knew that this was a big day and expressed that through their emotions. They are seriously some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Here are some pictures of them. I will post more pictures of the event a little later.
Stacey and I are proud to announce a couple of changes to the photography business!
First and foremost, we’ve recently changed our name to Gresham Photography as it has become a collaborative effort between Stacey and I. Along with the name change we’ve also revamped our logo, as you see here, to make it a little more “simple.”
Our new “slogan” or “motto” or whatever you want to call it is Simple.Color. We chose this saying because we feel like the two things we do best with our business is keeping it simple and keeping it colorful!
We’ve been busy booking weddings for 2008, and this will be our first year where we are booked solid! With 2009 looming, we will be “passing the torch” so to speak. For all of our 2009 weddings and shoots, I will be the lead photographer for Gresham Photography. Stacey’s school schedule has been getting pretty hectic, and it will only get worse as she starts her out-of-town clinicals in 2009. While this means that the number of weddings we co-shoot will be somewhat limited, Stacey is still very much excited about being a part of every shoot she can!
I hope you enjoy the new look and name. It’s not a big difference on the outside, but it’s a big step for Stacey and I as we continue to grow our business and our love for photography!

This beautiful wedding was last weekend at the Historic Tutwiler Hotel in Downtown Birmingham. It combined two of my favorite things: an urban setting and gorgeous fall colors. Enjoy just a few shots.
