Keli’s bridals

I enjoyed an afternoon at Botanical Gardens with Keli for her bridals. She was such a trooper, braving the cold in a strapless dress, and she really rocked this photo shoot! I can’t wait for her wedding in the Spring of next year. Until then, enjoy some of my favorites.

Lindsey and Andrew

I headed downtown Sunday afternoon to shoot with Lindsey and Andrew. They braved some cold temperatures for me, and looked great for the camera the entire time! We’ll be shooting their wedding next year at our home church, Mountain Brook Community Church, here in Birmingham! Enjoy some of my early favorites guys!

Rhanya and Mike

We got to spend a very special day on Saturday with Rhanya and Mike! Stacey has been looking forward to this wedding ever since she got Mike’s call asking if we’d be interested in shooting their big day. She has such an admiration for Mike, who she worked with for over a year at his physical therapy clinic in Homewood.

Rhanya and Mike focused their day on family and close friends, and it turned into a beautiful, emotional ride from beginning to end.

Rhanya kicked the day off at Salon U in Homewood before heading to the wedding site at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in downtown Birmingham…

Mike and Rhanya had an intimate moment outside the church seeing each other for the first time that day…

… until they realized that everyone was watching through the window…

They were so relaxed throughout the day, which made our job easier than ever…

Woodsen, Rhanya’s big teddy bear of a dog, made an appearance before the ceremony. He was an awesome sport posing for pictures, and even put a bowtie on for the occasion…

… some more of the happy couple before the ceremony…

Rhanya’s sister-in-law made all of the flowers for the day, and they were stunning…

Rhanya’s father was such an intriguing person to talk with, and you could tell throughout the day how much he loves his daughter…

On to the ceremony…

Mr. and Mrs…

Keeping with the feeling of the day, the reception was a small intimate gathering of family and friends at The Club overlooking downtown Birmingham. It was full of amazing details…

The happy couple wanted to sneak outside, and brave the cold, for a couple of shots with the lit city…

…then it was on to one of the most emotional toasting times that we’ve ever been a part of…

Thank you Mike and Rhanya for letting us be part of your amazing day, you’re an inspiration to us!
