Merry Christmas!

First off, if you’re seeing red and green today on the blog, no worries! We haven’t lost our sense of color coordination! Stacey just wanted me to clarify in case anyone was wondering!
:-)

Stacey and I have been enjoying the Christmas spirit all around the D.C. area over the past few days, and we wanted to give all of our blog stalkers a quick shout out before the big day tomorrow!

A fun, and very corny, tradition that my family always enjoys every Christmas Eve is watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” together before we all head to bed. I’ve officially seen the movie 25 times now and we’ll be sitting down in a few minutes for Stacey’s third year taking part in the tradition.

I’ve linked to my favorite part of the movie, where George Bailey discovers that he really does have a pretty good life. I wanted to share one of our traditions with you and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and an awesome holiday season!

Molly and Ben

Molly and Ben wrapped up our shooting year with a Christmas-themed wedding in Trussville early today. The weather cooperated just long enough for us to get some fun shots with the bride and groom and their wedding party before Molly walked down the aisle. Thanks to both of you for the fun day, and enjoy the surprise honeymoon … wherever it is!

Brittany and Jonathan

Stacey and I spent Saturday with Brittany and Jonathan “Red” over in Pell City, AL. They had a creative Christmas-themed ceremony and a great dance party of a reception followed. We lucked out during our shoot with the couple when Brittany suggested going to a local park to take some shots. Perfect sunset. For all of our brides-to-be who wonder what the heck we’re talking about when we say the best time to shoot is right before the sun goes down…. here’s the evidence! Thanks guys for an awesome day!
