Simple Color | Sessions 2009!

Stacey and I are so excited to announce our family and portrait session special for this year! We’ll be offering up 45-minute photo sessions with yours truly on October 17-18!!! Each session will come with a copyright-free disc of the proofs, at the ridiculously low cost of $150!

We’ve decided to shoot at two different locations this year. Saturday, October 17th we’ll be shooting sessions at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover. While on Sunday, October 18th, we’ll head over to Birmingham Botanical Gardens for some more sessions.

These usually book up ridiculously fast, and space is limited on each day. Feel free to email me, or give us a call at 205-218-2776 to ask any questions or book your session!

Weigh-In | The Results!

September 30, 2009 – 9:31 pm

So the results are in! Before we announce our winners, I just wanted to thank everyone who took part in this year’s contest! And even though we’re done making you feel guilty about losing weight, hopefully the pounds will continue to drop!!! This has been a challenging year for Stacey and I on a lot of different fronts. But I can’t even begin to say how proud I am of Stacey, who despite working through grad school clinicals and shooting weddings almost every weekend, was able to lose 15.2 pounds, or 9.74% of her body weight!

So here’s how everyone else finished up:

A BIG congrats to our friend Beverly, who pretty much lost every week without fail!!! It was great to get her numbers in each week and watch the weight drop. Beverly wins:

Joncee topped all of our competitors in overall weight loss, dropping an astounding 10.9 percent of her body weight. Ridiculous! For dropping 17 pounds, Joncee is our big winner! She gets to choose from one of the following:

- $100 B&H Photo Gift Card
- A free Shootsac by Jessica Claire
- Free one-hour portrait shoot with high-res disc of images

Jamie | The Day After Session

So we’ve taken a few weeks of the blog lately to get caught up on some business housekeeping, as well as work on a couple of fun new projects we have in the works! After shooting for nearly 17 weeks straight, it was weird to have almost four weeks off without a session. So you can bet Stacey was excited to get back out there on Sunday when she headed to Oak Mountain for Jamie’s day after session! Sunday was the first time this season that it really started to feel like Fall, which led to some comfortable temperatures and awesome light! Thanks Jamie for playing around the park with us!!! Here’s a few of our early favorites …
