Brittany and Chase | The Wedding – Part II

One of our favorite features at the Sonnet House is the outdoor patio on the back lawn. Couples can get married in front of a gorgeous fireplace, which worked out VERY well for Brittany and Chase’s wedding on a chilly evening!

After their first set of portraits, we shot Brittany and Chase’s bridal parties and then headed on to the ceremony! To top of an amazing day of portraits, the newlyweds let us drag them out front one more time for some more shooting! :-)

The reception was spread out across the Sonnet House property, and allowed guests to get down on the dance floor, sit by the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy a drink at the bar. It all combined for an amazing atmosphere, that was topped off by some crazy dancing!

So without further delay, here’s a look at the second part of our amazing day with Brittany and Chase!

Brittany and Chase | The Wedding – Part I

Brittany and Chase’s relationship started with hunting. And it’s been a common theme ever since…

Their favorite pastime together, paired with a love for the outdoors, provided the backdrop for their wedding Saturday at the Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama.

When I first met them last year to talk about possibly shooting the big day, I was so excited about their enthusiasm for getting great wedding images. They made their pictures a priority from Day 1, and Stacey and I both think it really shows in the images we came away with!

This amazing couple really committed themselves to enjoying their day, soaking up every moment, and leaving the details to the great group of vendors they brought together. But more than anything, what made Saturday special was Brittany and Chase’s personalities, paired with their obvious love for each other!

Saturday marked our first trip to shoot at the gorgeous Sonnet House, and we were blown away with how stunning the property is. From the prep rooms for the bride and groom, to the old barn out back … the venue has SO much personality! We’ve got a couple of weddings lined up there next year, and can’t wait to go back!

We do need to send a HUGE thank you out to the amazing Laine Williams who came along for the day to shoot! She’s always a blast to hang out with, and really helped the day go that much smoother!

To Brittany and Chase, thank you so much for letting us be there for the big day. You made are jobs as easy as they’ve ever been, and we couldn’t be more excited with the results!

For those of you expecting to see our usual “day-after” wedding post … we actually DID originally plan to blog yesterday. However, after we went through our images for a third time in 24 hours, we decided to take our time, and show off every aspect of the big day! With that said, here’s Part I of a two-part post…

Brittany and Chase | A Sneak Peek

So usually we’re not the biggest sneak peek folks, but after looking over the images we got during Brittany and Chase‘s wedding yesterday at the Sonnet House, it’s going to take awhile longer to prep! So you guys can look forward to a couple of posts dedicated the awesomeness that was Brittany and Chase’s big day!
