Ruth and Greg | The Engagements | Dunedin, FL

hutchens001

While Stacey and I were down in Florida this past week, I had the opportunity to shoot an engagement session with my cousin Ruth and her husband-to-be Greg. Needless to say, I was pretty pumped when the scheduling worked out for us to fit the session in before their beach wedding in early April!

Ruth and Greg took me to downtown Dunedin for some shots around the historic old buildings, and despite a craft fair knocking us a little off course, we walked around the back streets and alleys and got some great shots! After wandering around downtown for awhile we headed to a park along the water for some more relaxed shots, and a cameo appearance by Greg’s dog Oliver, or “Ollie” for short!

Ruth and Greg, Stacey and I are so pumped that you’ve invited us to photograph your wedding day. Shooting your engagement pictures was one of the easiest assignments I’ve ever taken on, thanks to how relaxed and comfortable you come across in front of the camera, and how ridiculously in love you obviously are!

See you in a few weeks!

Camille and Jeff | The Wedding | Marco Island, FL

juckett000

When Camille first showed me their wedding venue, I was pretty excited. But when we actually got to the rooftop terrace of the Marco Island Hilton, we were blown away. It was such a gorgeous setting for her and Jeff’s intimate wedding ceremony!

With only 14 total guests in attendance, they recited their vows to each other in a hilarious Dr. Seuss-style rhyme, left to the sound of steel drums, and celebrated their marriage with a delicious family brunch. On top of that, they were gracious enough to let us drag them up and down the beach later that evening for some portraits, shooting for nearly 2.5 hours. :-)

Thank you Camille and Jeff, for inviting us to be part of the most intimate wedding ceremony we’ve ever had the privilege of shooting. You and your families were an absolute joy to photograph!

Got to spend some time in Breckenridge this past Christmas. That place is beautiful when it’s snowing! Here’s a quick few frames and we’ll have a full blog post soon! (Stacey shooting my brother Isaac on the left | Me shooting Stacey on right)
