While Stacey was busy cruising around downtown Birmingham with Rebecca and Brandon, yours truly was soaking in some BEAUTIFUL light at Aldridge Gardens with Tara and Sam. This awesome couple had the gaul to tell me on their arrival that they were, in fact “not really photogenic.”
Seriously?! I beg to differ…
With Brandon on a quick month’s leave from the military, I was so excited to head out and shoot some engagement portraits with him and his gorgeous bride-to-be Rebecca. We cruised around the downtown area around the studio, before heading out to Botanical Gardens for a few more portraits. I have to admit, I’m a sucker for redheads …

Alissa was a stunningly glamorous bride from head to toe, and Chad made for a very dapper groom in his own right!
We were blessed with a gorgeous spring day at the American Village in Montevallo. And while the sun and wind gave us some fits early in the day, the light for Chad and Alissa’s portrait session after the ceremony was perfect. Alissa selected a popping pink for her main details, and it made for some colorful images of the bridal party and reception! Saturday also marked our first time shooting a reception inside of the brand new President’s Ballroom at the Village, and it definitely lived up to the hype! We also got to hang out again with Joe from Feel the Beat, who continued his record of ensuring a filled up dance floor!
Alissa and Chad, thank you so much for inviting us to be part of your amazing wedding day. It’s clients like you who make us realize how truly blessed we are to do the job we love! We hope you have a great time in Mexico, and enjoy some of our favorites from your day!
