Stacey and I have decided to share a quick few random thoughts about photography, life and anything else that no one but my mom might care to know about! We’re planning to post some of our favorite links and photos from the past week.

Not all of it will be photography-related, but hopefully we’ll be able to send some helpful hints to all of our clients, fellow photographers and resident blog stalkers! So here it goes!

– Judging from our branding, you’ve probably figured out that we’re HUGE fans of color at weddings! I saw this little “Details” piece on Southern Weddings last week and loved all the vibrant colors!

– There are some big things in the works for us down the road, and this not-so-subtle hint from the ladies at Elizabeth Anne Designs is an awesome inspiration board for anyone looking to deck out their office/workspace. Again with the color thing … :-p

– We had an amazing time with Quinn and Deborah on Saturday, and I have to say that this is one of my favorite bride shots in a long time!

– This picture was taken by the awesome Bryan Johnson over at A Bryan Photo. (The second to top image in the linked post!) It was from a wedding earlier this year in Norway, and we’ve been waiting anxiously for a big blog post! I personally loved this shot because of how cozy and intimate it feels, but how elegant the veil looks over the chair. Awesome!

– My brother and his wife have started up a blog documenting their journey towards adopting a child from South Korea. Stacey and I are really excited about the possble opportunity to travel to Asia with them when they go to meet their little on! Check out their blog.

I also found this cool new web tool that allows you to advertise and sell stuff via your social networking sites.

Similar to an Amazon listing, except you manage it via their dashboard, and you can list it on places like Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter. Maybe now I can offload some of our old camera gear that’s been lying around for WAY too long!

Stacey and I are getting a little fed up with this fiesty Alabama weather! It seems like it has been forever since we’ve had one solid week of good weather days! Yesterday we got treated to a funnel cloud crossing over our house, which meant a trip into our guest bathroom with the dogs. Here’s a quick photo I twittered during all the fun! (Apologies in advance for the toilet in the background! It is, after all, a working bathroom :-p)
