NYC and Breckenridge | On Film

nyc004

So here’s another quick installment of some random shots we took over the Christmas holidays during our trip to New York and Colorado to visit family. All of these were shot with the Contax 645 using Kodak film.

Snow in Breckenridge | On Film

Got to spend some time in Breckenridge this past Christmas. That place is beautiful when it’s snowing! Here’s a quick few frames and we’ll have a full blog post soon! (Stacey shooting my brother Isaac on the left | Me shooting Stacey on right)

Christmas 2010 | NYC and Colorado

vaca001

One thing that Stacey and I are notorious for in our family, is a severe lack of shooting personal work. Especially when it comes to images of our vacations. So this past Christmas we headed north for a week of relaxing in New York, followed by Christmas and New Years at my parents’ house in Colorado Springs. True to form, we came home with the most random spattering of images you will see from a trip to those two destinations.

I guess my best way to describe our NYC pictures would be, “New York at Night” … but honestly, it was so cold at night we didn’t spend a TON of time roaming the streets. However, due to my brilliance for not wanting to wait in a two-hour line, we did opt to take a trip to the top of the Empire State Building … at 1 a.m.

Needless to say … it was chilly.

So here’s a couple of shots from NYC, our ski trip in Colorado, and the ridiculous cabin home we stayed at near Breckenridge…

Had a great time skiing with the family … but quickly discovered how out of shape I am. It was kind of depressing…

(P.S. – If you’re in the market for a great point and shoot camera, there’s none better than the Canon G10 and G11. They’re amazing.)

One of my little brother Isaac strapping in before dropping in to a nice little black diamond …. I stupidly followed.

Got bored one night at the cabin … so I dragged the little brother out in the snow, and made shapes … with an iphone …. bored.
