Courtney and Nate have such a chill, comfortable feeling about them. So what better place to start their session than downtown Birmingham at Urban Standard? We were so grateful to Trevor from Urban, who let us in while they were closed for a few portraits.

We spent some time downtown, made a stop at the Alabama Theatre, and then headed to Oak Mountain for one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve seen in a LONG time. It was the perfect end to a great session, and I was so thankful for Courtney and Nate allowing me to drag them around downtown, and through some muddy fields at the park. :-)

While we wait on the film to get back, I wanted to share a couple of frames from their session …

  1. Debbie Williams These are wonderfully done! That last sunset shot makes me cry it is so beautiful. The amazing thing is that these two are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside because of Christ living in them! I love y'all! Mama

  2. Sharon Lovoy These are so great! Nate is my nephew and we can't wait until Courtney joins the fam. I love the settings and the composition. Great set!
