Stacey and I entered the last month of 2010 with two weddings left on the calendar, and we couldn’t be more excited to finish off the year with two awesome couples! We got to spend Saturday with the amazing Matt and Jenney, who made Dec. 11th one of our easiest weddings to date with their relaxed personalities! I knew from the moment I shot their engagement session earlier this year that they were going to be a great couple to work with!

We were SO in love with some of the personal touches that Mat and Jenney put into their big day, including a couple of pairs of Toms that looked a whole lot more comfortable than four-inch heels and tux shoes! Another unique detail was the scrabble pieces all over the reception… see, Matt proposed to Jenney using a scrabble board, so it only seemed fitting that they integrated Scrabble into the wedding day. Our favorite was by far, “OMG YUM” :-)

The ceremony was held at Covenant Presbyterian in Homewood, with the reception following at the lofty Avon Theatre in the Lakeview district. Many thanks to all the awesome vendors who helped the day go off without a hitch, and congrats to Jenney and Matt! We’re so grateful you guys asked us to be part of the big day, and while you jet of to Jamaica, here’s some highlights from your perfect day …

And YES, the Colorbooth was in full swing during the reception! Check back later for a full post dedicated to Jenney and Matt’s booth pics!
