I kicked off a rare double-header weekend Saturday with a beautiful wedding at Andrew Jackson’s “little” property … The Hermitage … up in Nashville. It’s a gorgeous property packed full of beautifully manicured grounds, gardens and wonderful old big plantation home. As a wedding photographer, what more can you ask for?! We did get hit by a little rain storm in the middle of portrait time, but thankfully, President Jackson built a big porch on the front of his house. :-)

Sarah and Austin said their vows in a 190-year-old church overlooking the property, and then headed down to the Cabin by the Spring for a reception night filled with drinks, dancing, and a whole lot of fireflies. :-) Last but not least … a big thanks to Heather for helping me throughout the day and shooting some great portraits!

Here’s a look at a few of my favorites from Sarah and Austin’s big day …
