After Stephanie and Chandler’s engagement session last fall, we couldn’t wait for another chance to shoot with them. Saturday was the big day for these two, and once again, they didn’t disappoint!

We started the day with the girls prepping in the beautiful Presidential Suite at the Wynfrey Hotel, while the guys put on their tuxes at the ceremony site at Southside Baptist Church in downtown Birmingham. This was our first time shooting at Southside, and we were so in love with the beautiful and airy feel to the sanctuary!

As always, it was blistering hot around time for portraits with the separate bridal parties, and thankfully, we were still able to sneak some shots in between the thunderstorms that came rolling through Five Points! After the ceremony, I got to spend a quick few minutes shooting portraits with Stephanie and Chandler, before heading off for a beautiful reception at the Wynfrey Hotel ballroom.

Both Stephanie and Chandler are HUGE Alabama fans, and what better way to celebrate their nuptials than asking Alabama’s mascot … Big Al … to make an appearance at the party?! He surprised everyone, and hung out for some dancing, and pictures in the Colorbooth! Make sure to check back later in the week when we publish the full set of Colorbooth images!

There are a bunch of people who helped make Stephanie and Chandler’s wedding day a special one. Many thanks to Heather and all the folks at the Wynfrey for helping us out with the last minute logistics for the Colorbooth! And we also had the pleasure of working with makeup artist Brittany Benton for the second week in a row.

So here are just a few frames from Stephanie and Chandler’s beautiful wedding day …

And just a hint of Big Al’s Colorbooth antics …

And last, but definitely not least, we have to send a BIG thank you to Alisha Crossley, who stepped up at the last second to help us out with some extended coverage and setting up the Colorbooth at the reception. Alisha, we are SO grateful to you for your help!
